600番台文系教養科目について　
東京工業大学では、2016（平成28）年度4月以降に入学した学生（社会人学生も同様）は、博士後期課程修了までに、600番台文系教養科目を2単位修得する必要があります（学修案内を参照のこと）。
なお、外国人留学生が受講可能である「日本語・日本文化科目」の授業科目を修得した場合，対応する番台の文系教養科目としてみなすことができます。

文系教養科目で通常開講している科目は「越境型教養科目」と「教養先端科目」です。
どちらも2Qと4Qに開講し、異なる学院の学生と共同で調査研究を行い、その成果発表を行います。授業内容は、毎年少しずつ変わっていますので、シラバスを参照してください。
■越境型教養科目（2単位）
この科目が履修できるのは以下の学生です。
　・2022年度以降の入学者
　・2021年度以前の入学者で、文系教養科目（留学生の場合は日本語・日本文化科目を含む）の単位を　　まだ1単位も修得していない学生
■教養先端科目（1単位）
この科目を履修できるのは、2021年度以前に入学した学生で、「教養先端科目」「学生プロデュース科目」等の文系教養科目（留学生の場合は日本語・日本文化科目を含む）を１単位以上修得済みの学生のみです。2021年度以前の入学者で、文系教養科目の単位を全く修得していない学生および2022年度以降の入学者は、この科目を履修することはできません。

※「学生プロデュース科目」は2022年度をもって科目廃止となりました。

★全回出席★
博士文系教養科目は、土曜日1-4限で開講します。
原則全部の回に参加する必要があります。開講日をシラバスで確認してください。

★履修申告〆切日★
履修希望者が多い場合は人数制限することがあります。履修希望者は，授業開始前の所定の期日までに履修申告を行ってください。履修申告の期日はシラバスを確認してください。履修制限した場合、結果は初回授業の前までにT2SCHOLAから「〜
@m.titech.ac.jp」のメールアドレスへ通知します（人数制限しなくて済んだ場合、特にお知らせはしません）。

Humanities and Social Science Courses
(600 Level Courses)

All the doctoral students who enrolled after April 2016, including working adult students,are required to obtain 2 credits of Humanities and Social Science Courses to completethe doctoral degree program.(Japanese Language and Culture Courses offered tointernational students can be recognized as equivalent to the Humanities and SocialScience Courses of the corresponding course level.).

Humanities and Social Science Courses that are normally offered are " Cross-BoundaryLiberal Arts Courses " and " Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Courses".
Both courses will be held in the 2Q and 4Q. Students studying different fields collaborateand make proposals to solve social issues such as “disaster prevention” and “poverty”.Students will develop their communication skills by conducting group work andpresentations in English with members from diverse backgrounds. Program may bemodified every year. Please check the syllabus.
■Cross-Boundary Liberal Arts Courses
The following students are eligible to take this course.
　・Students enrolled in 2022 or later
　・Students who enrolled in 2021 or earlier and who have yet to acquire any credits for 　　　Humanities and Social Science Courses
■Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Courses
Students enrolled in 2022 or later, and/or students who have not taken any credits inliberal arts courses are not eligible to take this course. Only students who havecompleted at least one credit of liberal arts courses (including Japanese language andculture courses for international students) such as " Path-breaking Liberal Arts Courses "and " Independent Studies Courses " are eligible to take this course.
* " Independent Studies Courses " has been abolished in March, 2023.

★Attendance requirements★
These courses are offered on Saturdays morning (1-4 period).
Students are required to attend all classes. Please check the syllabus for class dates.

★Application deadline★
In case over the capacity students apply for the course, registration will be restricted.Students who wish to take the course must apply for course registration by the deadlineindicated on the syllabus. The restricted results will be notified by T2SCHOLA before thefirst class (No notice will be given if there are no restrictions).

About Humanitiesand Social Science Courses in 3Q & 4Q, 2021 (600 LevelCourses)
東京工業大学では、2016（平成28）年度4月以降に入学した者（社会人学生も同様）は、博士後期課程修了までに、博士文系教養科目（2021年度は「教養先端科目」のみ）を2単位履修する必要があります。（「学生プロデュース科目」はコロナの関係で2021年度はすべて休講となります。）
「教養先端科目」では、異なる学院の学生と共同で調査研究を行い、その成果をまとめるフォーラムを形成します。細かな授業内容は、毎年少しずつ変わっていますので、シラバスを参照してください。
All the doctoral students who enrolled after April 2016, including working adult students,are required to obtain 2 credits from Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Courses (LAH.C6**) tocomplete the doctoral degree program (Due to the difficulty of class management underCovid 19, Independent Studies Courses are cancelled this academic year).
The Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Courses (LAH.C 611-613) create forums for discussing
topical issues and conducting joint research among students from different disciplines anddepartments.
Students of these courses also collaborate to organize a virtual group presentation on
line at the end of each course.

第3Qの博士文系教養科目の履修を希望する場合は、10月4日（月）17時に履修申告してください。制限人数を超えた場合は抽選を行ない、結果を10月6日（水）1７：00以降にお知らせする予定です。
履修制限で抽選に外れた場合、第１回講義日に来ても履修を認めません。また、個別の要請や指導教員等を通じた抽選結果の変更の依頼は受け付けません。

To submit your application, select the course you would like to enroll in on the WebSystem for Students and Faculty. Your application will be treated as "completed" (atTokyo Tech lecturers' side) by clicking on any of "SAVE(Temporary)", "Verify" or "Register"
If the number of applicants exceeds the limit, a lottery will be conducted and the resultswill be announced on and after 17:00 on Wednesday, October 6. Students failed to winthe lottery cannot be registered even if they participate at the first class. Do not requestto change the lottery results individually or through advisory professors.

第２Q以降に開講される「教養先端科目」は、異なる学院の学生と共同で調査研究を行い、その成果を動画にまとめます。細かな授業内容は、毎年少しずつ変わっていますので、シラバスを参照してください。2021年度の第１Qには、「教養先端科目」は開講されません。また、「学生プロデュース科目」はすべて休講となります。
Students who enter in April 2021, including working adult students, are required toobtain 2 credits from Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Courses (LAH.C6**) to complete thedoctoral degree program (International students can take Japanese language coursesinstead). The Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Courses (LAH.C 611-614) create forums fordiscussing topical issues and conducting joint research among students from differentdisciplines and departments. Students are required to submit a short video as theachievement of their joint research. Program may be modified every year. Please checkthe syllabus (Independent Studies Courses are not offered this year).

2020年度は、教養先端科目（AとBの２クラス）をオンラインで開講します。
第３Qの開講日は、12月5日、19日、2021年1月９日、2３日です。
AとBの２クラス合わせて400名までに受講者を制限しますので、
1１月２７日（金）までに教務Webシステムで追加申告をしてください。
上記期限内に教務Webシステムで申告した学生の中で受講者制限を行います。
2020年度は、どのクォーターも学生プロデュース科目は開講しません。なお、教養先端科目を２単位履修すれば、修了要件を満たすことができます。

Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Course (Class A and B) will be taught online in the academicyear 2020.
The classes in the 4rd quarter will be heldon December 5, December 19,
January 9, January 23, 2021.
Students who want to take this course must register from "Course addition" onthe Web System for Student and Faculty on November 27,
as we need to limit the number of the students to 400 in total.
To submit your application, select the course you would like to enroll in on the WebSystem for Students and Faculty.
All the Independent Student Courses in the academic year 2020 will be cancelled. Youneed to take two Path-Breaking Courses in order to get the necessary credits for liberalarts.

2020年度は、教養先端科目（AとBの２クラス）をオンラインで開講します。
第３Qの開講日は、10月17日、31日、11月14日、28日です。
AとBの２クラス合わせて400名までに受講者を制限しますので、
10月９日正午12時までに教務Webシステムで申告をしてください。
上記期限内に教務Webシステムで申告した学生の中で受講者制限を行います。
この時点では「本登録」までする必要はありません。「一時保存（仮登録）」での申告で大丈夫です。
2020年度は、どのクォーターも学生プロデュース科目は開講しません。なお、教養先端科目を２単位履修すれば、修了要件を満たすことができます。

Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Course (Class A and B) will be taught online in the academicyear 2020.
The classes in the 3rd quarter will be heldon October 17, October 31,  November 14and November 28.
Students who want to take this course must register by  NOON on
October 9,as we need to limit the number of the students to 400 in total.

第２Q以降、教養先端科目（AとBの２クラス）をオンラインで開講します。
第２Qの開講日は、６月27日、７月11日、25日、８月８日です。
AとBの２クラス合わせて400名までに受講者を制限しますので、
６月20日までに教務Webシステムで追加申告をしてください。（0601期限を延ばしました）
2020年度は、どのクォーターも学生プロデュース科目は開講しません。なお、教養先端科目を２単位履修すれば、修了要件を満たすことができます。
2020年９月修了予定の学生で、第２Qに博士教養科目を２単位履修する必要がある学生は、
担当者にご相談ください。

Path-Breaking Liberal Arts Course (Class A and B) will be taught online from the 2ndquarter in the academic year 2020.
The classes in the 2nd quarter will be heldon June 27, July 11, July 25 and August 8.
Students who want to take this course must register (“add” the course ) by June20,as we need to limit the number of the students to 400 in total.
